Courier Business Awards – Terms and Conditions

  1. All entries must be submitted via the online form or by email at by the closing date of Thursday, June 29, 2017.
  2. All entries, and the details contained within them, will be handled in the strictest confidence and only made available to members of the judging panel.  All confidential information supplied will be securely destroyed after the judging period.
  3. All businesses who enter the awards will be notified if they have made the shortlist in August 2017.
  4. Shortlisted businesses will be visited by representatives from The Courier and judging panel at their premises, on dates to be advised in August/September 2017.
  5. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. Feedback on individual entries will not be given.
  7. The judges reserve the right to broaden the entry categories in any particular category. They also reserve the right to move entrants from one category to another if they believe it to be appropriate.
  8. It is accepted as a precondition of entry that all participating businesses will agree to facilitate and feature in editorial coverage within The Courier and its online portals.
  9. All businesses submitting entries should be headquartered or have significant business and employment interests in the Dundee, Perthshire, Fife, Angus and The Mearns, Stirlingshire and/or Clackmannanshire areas.
  10. There is no upper or lower limit on the size of businesses which may enter the awards.
  11. Businesses can enter any number of categories and win any number of categories, however a separate entry is required for each category submission.
  12. Winners will be announced at The Courier Business Awards ceremony in the grounds of the Apex Hotel, Dundee, on Saturday, October 28, 2017.
  13. Tickets purchased are non-refundable.
