The Event

Where will your career take you? Open your mind to the possibilities..

The Aberdeen Young Professionals Ball in association with Peterson, was an amazing event celebrating the hard work and fantastic young professional talent in Aberdeen, while looking to the future of Aberdeen’s industries.

The event included welcome drinks, a delicious three-course meal, an evening of live entertainment, an entrepreneur panel discussion, networking opportunities, a charity raffle with lots of prizes and so much more.

The night will also included the annual ‘Mentor Awards’ to honour exceptional mentors and mentees on the Aberdeen Young Professionals scheme, which launched in 2017 to connect senior business leaders with young talent in the area.

Charity Fundraising

  • Maggie's Aberdeen and Mental Health Aberdeen (MHA)

We’re raising funds for two amazing charities: Maggie’s Aberdeen and Mental Health Aberdeen.

Maggie’s Centres are very special places where people with cancer, their family, friends and carers can receive practical, emotional and social support. The Centres are places to find practical advice about benefits and eating well; places where qualified experts provide emotional support; places to meet other people and places where you can simply sit quietly with a cup of tea.

Mental Health Aberdeen is a charity, local to Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire providing support services, counselling and advice to adults, young people and children affected by challenges related to mental health and wellbeing. MHA provide services such as adult and youth counselling, befriending, carers support and community day centres.

Mental Health Aberdeen was formed in 1950, making it one of the oldest charities working with people experiencing mental health difficulties.

Here are some of the awesome prizes you could win at the Aberdeen Young Professionals Ball!

Remember to bring cash with you on the night to raise funds for our wonderful charities.
