The Courier Business Conference, in partnership with Henderson Loggie returns with a fresh focus: the creative economy and its transformative potential in Tayside, Fife and Stirling.
Hosted within the new virtual production studio at The Big Real, Water’s Edge in Dundee, this year’s event brings together pioneers of gaming, music, fashion, design, media, and digital innovation to explore the future of one of Scotland’s fastest-growing sectors.
Our business conference will include three curated sessions, bringing together leading voices and practical insights:
Session 1 – Creating the future, Realtime: with Chris van der Kuyl CBE, FRSE
This session introduces the revolutionary work happening at the Big Real, water’s Edge Dundee. Discover how emerging technologies are unlocking new creative possibilities – and commercial potential – for Scotland and beyond.
Session 2 – Monetising creativity in Scotland: panel discussion hosted by The Courier Editor, David Clegg
This session will explore the realities of building a sustainable, profitable business in the creative industries – from media and music to tech and storytelling. Interactive session with questions from audience members.
Session 3 – Keynote with Geoff Ellis, chief executive of DF Concerts
As Chief Executive of DF Concerts, Geoff has played a defining role in shaping Scotland’s live music scene over the past 40 years, working with everyone from Oasis to Beyoncé. He’ll share insights from his remarkable career and the business of bringing world-class events to life.
