The Port of Aberdeen is constantly evolving to support new industries. With the largest berthage in Scotland, its world-class infrastructure, strategic location and expert supply chain make Aberdeen the port-of-choice for oil and gas, decommissioning, renewables and future fuels projects. The Port’s £400 million expansion project has been designed to accommodate larger, wider, and deeper vessels and will be at the heart of the development of high potential sectors, including offshore wind and green hydrogen. The Port of Aberdeen is gearing up for operations at Aberdeen South Harbour, with the first commercial vessels expected this summer as a ‘soft start’ prior to operations commencing in October 2022.
