Albyn School, together with the TotalEnergies French School, is a thriving co-educational school for children and young people aged 2-18 in the heart of Aberdeen’s West End. Educating for over 150 years, the school has around 800 children in the Nursery, Lower and Upper Schools.
Albyn is the perfect size – a goldilocks school, not too big and not too small – a great environment for curious minds to benefit from the broad curriculum, smaller class sizes and an array of fantastic co-curricular activities.
Pupils are encouraged to select subjects and activities that they enjoy and gain fulfilment from which breeds a positive attitude towards learning. This was shown in 2022, with almost half of all S5 pupils gaining A grades at Higher. However, their great exam results are the by-product of an Albyn education, rather than the only objective.
