Once upon a time, before the invention of the games console, the only way to battle space aliens or compete with a computer was in an arcade. The folks at Paisley Pinball want to resurrect that magic. ‘Playing arcade and pinball games is a completely different experience,’ says Eric Ridley, the company owner, ‘It’s livelier, more sociable and a more interactive experience. There’s no pre-programmed artificial intelligence – it’s you against the machine. There’s something exciting about that.’
